Beginning Teachers bring a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for learning and a genuine commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our students. Through the Beginning Teachers Program at the TDSB, all new teachers are provided with ongoing professional learning and growth opportunities for the first four years of their career. Aligned with the Ministry of Education’s New Teacher Induction Program (NTIP), our program focuses on supporting teachers and developing instructional excellence in the classroom.
COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Procedure
The TDSB has developed a COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Procedure for Employees, Trustees and Other Individuals (PR734) to protect the health and safety of employees, students, families, and community members from COVID-19 and ensure all schools and workplaces are as safe as possible in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to their first day of work, new employees joining the Board must be fully vaccinated (subject to TDSB-approved exemptions) and show proof of vaccination as a condition of employment.
