Secondary Teaching Applications

Starting January 1, 2025, the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) welcomes applications for the Secondary Teaching Eligible to Hire (ETH) list and Occasional Teaching opportunities.

• Submit one application per calendar year.
• All applicants must complete a new online application for consideration in the 2025 recruitment process. 

Adult Day School Teachers

We are accepting new applications for Continuing Education Adult Day School Programs! through the secondary online application process. To learn more about Adult Day School click here: Adult Day Schools.

2. Résumé (maximum two pages)
3. Certificate of Qualification
• Faculty of Education students must submit certification upon graduation.

4. Reports
• Practice Teaching Reports for faculty students OR 
• Teacher Evaluation Reports for Experienced Teachers
5. References
• Provide two teaching supervisory references from the last five years.
1. Confirm your references' availability and ability to provide a strong recommendation on your behalf.
6. Recommendation Letters (Optional)

Note: Changes to your application can be made later through our recruiting system.

After you Apply

• You'll receive a confirmation email after submitting your application.
• Your application will remain active for one calendar year.
• All subject certifications are considered, with priority given to identified qualification combinations.
• Interviews start February 2025 and will continue year-round. Only selected candidates will be contacted based on TDSB System needs.
