As the Trustee for our community of schools I regularly hold events that share information and provide opportunities for parents to learn and share from each other. These events are called Ward Forums. This school year there will be number of Ward Forums held for Ward 9 Davenport and Spadina - Fort York. These meetings may be in person or virtual. Creating Thriving Classroom Communities

Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom

Join Trustee Alexis Dawson, Trustee Michelle Aarts, and Trustee Malika Ghous for a special virtual joint ward forum.

TDSB staff will be available to discuss the behind-the-scenes efforts that help create thriving classroom communities. We will learn about the various roles staff play in fostering safe and welcoming environments - not only teachers and principals, but also social workers, child and youth workers, therapists, and more.

All in Davenport and Spadina - Fort York, Beaches - East York, and Scarborough Southwest are welcome to attend, including parents/ guardians/ caregivers, students, staff, and members of school communities. We look forward to seeing you there!
