2026-27 Principal and Vice-Principal Fall Selection Process Timelines
The determination has been made that system needs will be met by running a Fall and Spring process for the 2026/27 school year.
The Fall 2026 selection process will include a process for Elementary Principal and Secondary Principal.
FALL 2026: PRINCIPAL AND VICE-PRINCIPAL SELECTION PROCESS
Qualified candidates who are interested in applying for the positions of Elementary Principal and Secondary Principal are asked to complete and submit a Notice of Intent to Apply form and complete Application Package.
The deadline to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply Form and complete Application Package is Friday, September 25th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), as outlined on the linked forms.

Fall 2026 Application Package Submission Requirements:
- Notice of Intent to Apply Form
- PVP: Application-Referee Form Fall 2026
- PVP: Resume Template
- Voluntary Self Identification Survey – Confidential (optional)
- Copy of your College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualifications is to be included as part of your application package (attach as separate document)
- Copy of your most recent (within 5 years) TPA (for VP candidates) or PPA (for Principal candidates) (attach as separate document)
- Proof of completion of Special Education Qualification - Part 1 or equivalent (if not listed on OCT)
- Reference Statement - External candidates only (found on Page 5 of Application Package)
An information session will be held for candidates intending to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply and a completed Application Package. The session will outline the next steps in the promotion process and provide an overview of the leadership expectations within the TDSB.
The session will be held virtually on Thursday, September 10, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interested candidates are asked to register in advance using the link below:
