In a winter marked by prolonged and extreme cold, the Winter Outerwear Drive made a meaningful difference for students across the Toronto District School Board. Donors stepped up to ensure students had the essential outerwear they needed to stay warm and focused at school.
By the Numbers
- 1,002 students received brand-new winter coats and cold-weather accessories
- 64 schools across the city were supported
- $65,075 raised through monetary and in-kind donations
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to student well-being. By helping remove barriers associated with winter weather, it enhanced students’ sense of dignity, inclusion, and readiness to learn.
100% of donations directly supported TDSB students.
Since 2020, the Drive has supported more than 17,961 students across 393 schools.
Donations are welcomed year-round. For more information, contact BusinessDevelopment@tdsb.on.ca.
