All TDSB students can get a library card for free! Here’s how:
  • Head to any Toronto Public Library branch
  • Make sure you bring some form of name & address ID
  • (check this list to see what types of ID you can bring)
  • If you’re under 12, bring your parent or guardian with you 
  • to sign your card or ask your teacher-librarian if a branch
    librarian can come to your school

across the city. 
You can borrow & return books at any
location
. Use this map to find the library location closest
to you.


If a book is not available at the library closest to you,
place 
a hold and have the book delivered to the branch
of your choice. It’s free!

Borrow up to 50 books at a time and renew books online.
You can also borrow 
eBooks & music 
online without
