Principals as Catalysts for Climate Change Education
Thursday, April 3rd 4-5pm ET
Effective leadership in 21st century schools requires addressing the urgent challenges of the climate crisis by integrating Climate Change Education (CCE) into school infrastructure, curricula and culture. This webinar explores how administrative leaders in school boards can help support and lead CCE, as well as achieve long and short-term goals in School Improvement Plans (SIPs) and board-level strategic plans. Principals and Vice-Principals from the Toronto District School Board introduce examples of how CCE is embedded into their schools and strategic objectives to inspire and enact climate action. This session offers valuable tools and perspectives as to how administrative leaders can catalyze climate adaptation and mitigation in schools and their broader communities.
Please register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
