When selecting curriculum resources, TDSB educators are reminded of their responsibilities to:

• Review content in its entirety to ensure suitability for the students they are working with prior to featuring it in a lesson.
• Utilize the TDSB Toolkits for Selecting Equitable and Culturally Relevant and Responsive Texts
• Plan lessons that are cognizant of students who are accessing the Ontario curriculum and students who are accessing the Alternate Curriculum.
• Ensure that their intended use of the resource follows Fair Deal Dealing and Copyright rules and policy with particular attention to understanding their responsibilities under Fair Dealing and within online learning environments.
• Ensure that their resource selection and instructional practices adhere to TDSB's Code of Online Conduct and TDSB's Privacy Policies and Procedures, Guides and Fact Sheets

TDSB Digital Instructional Resources and Resource Information

TDSB educators are encouraged to utilize the licenced curriculum resources readily available through the TDSB Virtual Library and those found on the TDSB Digital Learning Resources Site. TDSB licenced resources have been reviewed for privacy and security and our licenses permit the use of these copyrighted resources by our students and staff.
