TDSB Celebrates Pride

June is Pride Month at the TDSB! It’s an opportunity to celebrate diversity and raise awareness among all staff and students about the rich culture and history of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. It’s also an opportunity to deepen learning, support students, staff, and families, and recognize the ongoing impact of homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia.

As we mark Pride Month, we also reaffirm our commitment to foster safe and welcoming spaces every day of the year. Wishing all a happy Pride Month!

Pride Parade

Join us at this year's Pride Parade! We are proud to invite students, staff, and their families, friends, and allies to march with the TDSB contingent in the Toronto Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28.

Together, we will celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the strength of TDSB communities as we come together in support of Pride. Please note that, this year, TDSB participants will be walking/marching along the parade route as there will be no vehicles.

We're asking all walking TDSB participants to gather between 1:15 to 1:45 pm at Asquith Green Park (west side of Church St.,1 block north of Bloor). TDSB staff will be waiting at the park to direct everyone to our mustering point (Aylmer Avenue and Yonge Street). Check-in with the parade will happen at the intersection of Yonge St. and Aylmer Ave.
