Remembrance Day

Thursday, November 08, 2018
Categories: Great Things, Happenings @ TDSB

On Friday, November 9, students and staff across the TDSB will be marking Remembrance Day, which falls on Sunday, November 11. During Remembrance Day, our teachers make connections between global events and students' lives through classroom activities and school assemblies, promoting peace within our school community. By remembering all who have served, we recognize the hardships and sacrifices they have made so that we can continue to live in peace.

This year, on November 11 at 11:11 a.m., we mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the first World War.
