Dear School Community:
Re: Opportunities to get vaccinated during #DaysofVaxtion
I am writing to make you aware of more opportunities for you and your families to get your COVID-19 vaccine during the #DaysofVaxtion campaign running now until September 19. We encourage everyone who has not yet had the opportunity to get their vaccines to do so this weekend to get the best protection as soon as possible against COVID-19 and its variants.
Through #DaysofVaxtion, more than 70 mobile vaccination clinics are being held this weekend across Toronto. This is the highest number of mobile vaccination clinics being offered in a single weekend to-date. Information is available on the City of Toronto website and you can find the public clinic nearest you online.
Toronto Public Health continues to urge residents born in 2009 or earlier to initiate their vaccination or get their second dose, if they have not already done so, to protect themselves and those who cannot yet get vaccinated. Getting vaccinated is one of our best tools to respond to the fourth wave of COVID-19 and helps the most to prevent serious illness from COVID-19. For more information on COVID-19 vaccines, please visit toronto.ca/COVID19.
Thank you for all that you are doing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
