Elementary Virtual School Parents/Guardians,

Earlier this month we shared an update to provide families with information about the Kindergarten Communication of Learning and Progress Report (Grades 1 to 8), the upcoming PA Day and parent/guardian-teacher conferences. As a follow-up, please be advised that the Kindergarten Communication of Learning and Progress Reports for all Elementary Virtual School students (JK to Grade 8) will be sent via School Messenger to the parent/guardian email on file on Wednesday, December 2. Additionally, students in Grades 4 to 8 will also receive a copy of their report card to their TDSB student email account. For help, please view TDSB Student Login Instructions.

For families with a student in JK to Grade 3 without a parent/guardian email address on file, a paper copy of the Kindergarten Communication of Learning or Progress Report will be sent to the student’s home address via Canada Post. Please note that families may not receive mailed progress reports prior to the parent/guardian-teacher conference. In these cases, a copy will be shared by the teacher during virtual conferences.

As a reminder, Friday, December 4 is a PA Day for all Elementary Virtual School students (JK to Grade 8) and there are no classes. This is also the date when parent/guardian-teacher conferences will take place. All parents/guardians will be given the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher either virtually or by phone. To schedule a conference or to ask any questions, please speak directly with your child’s teacher.
