Lillian PS celebrated its second annual Mental Health Week with a full week of activities designed to educate, inspire and engage students in their mental health and well-being.
Students had an opportunity to learn about emotions, how to manage different feelings, take part in physical activities known to calm body and mind, as well as creating hands-on soothing projects. The goal was to help provide all students with the tools to be happy, healthy learners, both mentally and physically.
Activities included:
- Monday- Mandala Art
- Tuesday - Positive Rock Messages
- Wednesday- Yoga
- Thursday- Mindful Breathing using "Lazy 8 Breathing" and "6 Six Sides of Breathing" tools
- Friday- School wide walk for our well-being
