About 900 TDSB elementary students  from TDSB schools were the guest of honour at the elegant Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex held on December 3, 2019 They were treated to toys, games, live music, a dance party, lunch, the spirt of giving.  It was all part of the 9th Annual Caring & Sharing Christmas Gala in support of Children's Breakfast Clubs. The event was hosted by the Liberty Entertainment Group and Spin Master, a Toronto-based global children's entertainment company. 12 TDSB elementary schools participated based on their affiliation with Children's Breakfast Clubs.

All schools were from the City’s designated priority neighborhoods. The caring and sharing theme allows the children to receive a gift for themselves and another to share with someone they care about. The gifts were provided by an impressive lineup up of public and private co-sponsors and many of Toronto’s community and first responder agencies.

The students were accompanied by school administrators, teachers, and parent and school volunteers.
