Robin Pilkey was acclaimed Chair of the Toronto District School Board during this evening’s annual Organizational Board meeting. Trustee Chris Moise was acclaimed Vice Chair.
First elected as Trustee for Ward 7 (Parkdale-High Park) in the fall of 2014, Chair Pilkey now enters her second term as Trustee and fifth term as Chair. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Pilkey currently serves on the TDSB Audit Committee, the French as a Second Language Advisory Committee and as a Trustee representative with the Toronto Student Transportation Group. Prior to her election as Trustee, she chaired the parent advisory committees at Swansea Public School and Western Technical-Commercial School.
A long-time resident in his community, Chris Moise was first elected as Trustee for Ward 10 in June of 2016 and is now the Trustee for the newly-created ward of University-Rosedale and Toronto Centre. Moise has owned a pet supply business in the St. Lawrence Market area for the last 14 years. He currently sits on the Black Student Achievement Community Advisory Committee and as a Director for the Toronto Lands Corporation.
