Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer

The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

Secondary School Placement Centre

The TDSB Secondary Placement Centre assists students and adults who have not earned their high school diploma and are currently not enrolled in a secondary school.  The Placement Centre is staffed by guidance counsellors during peak registration periods. Placement Centre staff will confer with students individually, assess their unique learning needs and discuss TDSB opportunities to earn credits towards their diploma.

Contact the Placement Centre for:

  • information about how to earn your diploma
  • information about how to re-engage in a different learning environment (i.e. alternative secondary school, on-line learning, Continuous Intake Co-op, etc.)
  • assistance finding a program in the TDSB

  • Student’s first and last name
  • Date of birth

  • Last school attended
  • Trillium Student Number or OEN
  • Number of credits earned
