Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer

The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.

Saturday Credit Program

The TDSB Continuing Education Department is offering a credit program in several international languages for current high school students. Classes run 3.25 hours a week on Saturdays beginning on October 20 to June 15, 2019, depending on sufficient enrollment numbers. A minimum of 25 students are needed to run a course.

Registration for the Saturday Credit Program is now open.

Please note: The program is open to current high school students only. When registering on eReg, the name of the Saturday program to look for is (school name) Secondary WKND (short for weekend). For example, a student wishing to enroll in the Greek program should enroll in Donview Secondary WKND. Those wishing to enroll in Arabic should enroll in Milne Valley Secondary WKND. The name of the school and the name of the program are different, please make sure you enroll in the program that has Secondary WKND at the end.

How to Register

TDSB Students & Adults

Registration is a two-step process. By using the links below, you are submitting a request to be considered for registration. You are not registered until you submit the required paperwork. 

TDSB students, including adults currently attending a TDSB Adult Learning Centre, click the link. Once you have requested your course, you will receive an email with an attachment to complete and take to your guidance counsellor. Your day school guidance counsellor must approve your request in order for you to register.


Non-TDSB Students and Adults

You will need the following information:

  • A valid transcript/credit counselling summary showing prerequisite earned. 
  • Your 9 digit OEN (Ontario Education Number 
  • Your OEN is printed on all report cards and transcripts issued to students who attended school in Ontario, including night school, effective 2004).

Important: you must register using your name as it appears on your transcript. 

Online registration is a two-stage process. Click on the link to create a registration account. Your registration account remains available for you to use for upcoming night school and summer school sessions.

Once you’ve confirmed your account, you will be directed to the second link below to request a course. You will need to upload documents showing proof of pre-requisites earned in Ontario 

TDSB students who attempt to request courses using this external link will not be accepted.
