The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.
The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.
The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.
The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.
Sir William Osler High School offers a unique and caring setting for students with a Developmental Disability (DD) or a Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) exceptionality. At Osler, our staff provide a warm, welcoming environment with a supportive and collaborative approach to create a rich and dynamic experience where students can grow. Sir William Osler provides social and academic programming for students of all abilities, with a goal to build life skills and employability skills. Students are accepted to the school through the Identification Placement and Review Committee (IPRC) process and may remain at Osler until they turn 21 years of age. Students work toward a Certificate of Accomplishment through the non-credit program.
Sir William Osler High School offers a wide variety of program options including hands on employability shop classes. These include commercial food school with a restaurant services component, horticulture, auto and carpentry shops. Our Life Skills program includes our Multi-Sensory Room, Simulated Apartment classroom, and Simulated Grocery Store classroom. Programs are enhanced with our in-school and out of school cooperative classes when possible.
