Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer
The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.
The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.
The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.
The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.
Brookhaven Public School is located in the Black Creek Drive and Lawrence Avenue area. The original school dates from 1949 and was rebuilt in 1992. Our students represent over 29 different language groups and 19 countries. In addition to our regular programs from Full Day Kindergarten to Grade 5, we also offer French Immersion programming for Full Day Kindergarten and Grade 1 students. Approximately 400 children contribute to a learning environment that is rich with an exciting diversity of cultures and languages. There is a Student Nutrition Program for all students. Brookhaven Day Care is housed in our school. Care is provided for 2 1/2 - 6 year olds. The school-age program is for 6 - 12 year olds.
At Brookhaven, we are committed to co-creating learning spaces of Joy and Excellence where Literacy, Numeracy, Equity, and Anti-Oppressive Education allows all students to experience a sense of belonging, positive well-being and academic success. We will continue to build and grow together as a Brookhaven School Community.
