37 As per Board decision on June 20, 2018, Elizabeth Simcoe Junior Public School will be converted from a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 school to a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 school, retaining Grade 7 in the first year of implementation, and Grade 8 in the second year of implementation. Based on design and construction timelines we anticipate that for September 2027, the school will expand their grades from JK-6 to JK-7. In September 2028, the school will expand to JK to grade 8. This timeline is approximate.

40 As per Board decision on June 20, 2018, Jack Miner Senior Public School will close when its feeder junior schools have been converted from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 schools to Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 schools. Based on design and construction timelines we anticipate that for September 2027, the feeder junior schools, Elizabeth Simcoe Junior Public School, Guildwood Junior Public School, and Poplar Road Junior Public School will expand their grades from JK-6 to JK-7. In September 2028, each of the feeder schools will expand to serve JK to grade 8. Jack Miner Sr PS will close in September 2028. This timeline is approximate.
