Emily Carr Public School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 dual track school. The school serves approximately 270 students representing a diverse population. We offer a Middle Immersion French Program for students in Grades 4 to Grade 7 and an Extended French Program for students in Grade 8. Our goal is to develop a well-rounded, self-disciplined child with a positive sense of self-worth. We foster an atmosphere that values respect, achieving excellence, personal initiative, co-operation, and effort. We believe that the positive, safe, and caring climate at Emily Carr enhances the full academic, social, and emotional development of every child, as does building partnerships between the school, home and community.

Emily Carr Public School is located on the eastern outskirts of the Malvern community. The school opened in 1980, and was expanded in 1994. We are proud of the wide variety of extra and co-curricular programs offered by our staff and the community. We strive to inspire our students to become life long learners with a positive self image. We are committed to developing the skills necessary for our students to become responsible global citizens.
