The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.
The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.
The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

George B. Little Public School opened in 1957. The school received its name from Lt. Col. George Burnfield Little, an officer in the Boer War, and the Reeve of Scarborough Township from 1928 to 1931. The school presently serves just under 400 students from K-8, representing a wide variety of cultures and language groups. French Immersion at George B. Little begins in Junior Kindergarten. Our Mission Our mission is to encourage everyone to work together to promote a positive, safe, caring and co-operative, learning environment which ensures all of our children will develop the knowledge, skills, and values needed to effectively participate in society. We focus on critical skills in Literacy, Numeracy and Global Competencies.
Our School hours are as follows: 9:10 am - Entry Bell 9:15 - 3:45 p.m. - Instructional Time 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch 3:45 p.m. - Dismissal
