The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.
The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.
The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.
The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.
Dublin Heights E&MS has a proud tradition (going back to 1823), of educating young people in the Bathurst and Sheppard community. Our over 862 students represent over 20 language groups. Russian is the predominant first language among our English as a second language students. Almost one-half of our students speak English as a second language.Dublin Heights E&MS hosts Special Education programs, including Grades 7 and 8 Gifted programs, a Physical Needs program, and Grades 5-8 Deaf and Hard of Hearing District-wide programs. Students are integrated into regular classes and resource support is provided as required by available support staff.

Dublin Heights E&MS is wheelchair accessible for all students and the community at large. The Dublin Community Child Care, which provides before and after school care, moved into a new facility in March 1999.Staff and community believe that our students must:-Engage and succeed in relevant, dynamic learning experiences designed to meet their diverse social, academic and co-curricular needs. -Be actively involved in the school community, exhibiting confidence, social competence and critical thinking -Feel empowered to present their viewpoints and negotiate options -Work with each other, as well as school staff, in an atmosphere based on mutual trust, safety and respect.
