The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

Please Note: While admission to the Early French Immersion (SK entry)/Junior Extended French (Grade 4 entry) program is guaranteed at the entry points to all eligible on time applicants, admission to a specific school is not guaranteed if the school reaches capacity. Application to begin these programs is open to all students not already enrolled in an FSL program.

Intermediate Extended French (Grade 7 Entry)

In a limited number of areas in the TDSB, there is the option for the Intermediate Extended French program which begins in Grade 7. Applications to the Intermediate Extended French program are made the year your child is in Grade 6 for entry in September of Grade 7.

  • Eligible students by home address should complete the application for grade 7-entry Extended French and submit it directly to the Extended French school by February 4, 2019.
  • Parents will be notified of placement by the Extended French School.


IMPORTANT DATES:
Application process opens: Monday, January 7, 2019

Deadline for applications: Monday, February 4, 2019


Students who are not in the catchment of a Grade 7-entry Extended French school may apply under Optional Attendance and will be offered placement if there is available space. There is no transportation for students accepted under Optional Attendance.
