Keynote Speakers

Michelle Munroe headshotMichelle Munroe champions anti-oppressive and anti- bias parent/caregiver engagement and community development. She is a Social Work practitioner (MSW) and the Manager of Parent and Community Engagement with the Toronto District School Board. As a trained facilitator and public speaker, Michelle has worked in the field of public education and public service for over 20 years delivering anti-oppressive, anti-bias and anti-Black family community development workshops and presentations.

 

 

 

 

Mante MalepoMante Molepo is the co-founder of Parents for Diversity, which aims to address discrimination in the education system. She works with companies, non-profits and other organizations to address racism and other forms of oppression through training and professional development on equity and inclusion. Using her professional background and lived experience, she consults with organizations to develop practices and policies to foster a culture where all members of the organization feel they belong. As a Director for Amnesty International Canada, Parents for Diversity and the Parkdale Food Centre, she continues to work on issues related to anti-oppression.
