Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer

The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.

2019 FOYT Community Request for School Space

The 2019 Focus on Youth Toronto (FOYT) program supports quality summer programs for children and youth in priority neighbourhoods, by offering use of school space at no cost to local community agencies. This summer, FOYT will offer school space from July 2 to August 9. Community agencies can apply for TDSB school space through the online application form at the bottom of this page. Agencies must have an eBase account and be able to comply with TDSB permit requirements. Priority will be given to agencies who are able to sustain an effective summer program and to those who offer free programs.

May 14th Applications close for community use of space
Week of June 18th Agencies informed of allocated space
July 2 Start of FOYT
August 9 End of FOYT

The Toronto District School Board has 77 designated PSI schools to provide not-for-profit organizations and groups, free after-hours access to school facilities in communities that need it most.
