The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

Focus on Youth Toronto

The objective of Focus on Youth Toronto (FOYT) is to support high quality programs for children and youth in Toronto's inner city areas. FOYT provides employment and leadership opportunities for the youth in these communities and offers use of school space at no cost for organized community-based programs. Programs promote learning through play, healthy lifestyle and positive self-image. The FOYT initiative is funded by a grant from the Ministry of Education.

Summer FOYT Program 2019 - July 2nd to August 9th

Community organizations may complete an application to request use of school space and student employees. Applications open May 2nd.

TDSB secondary students may complete an application for summer employment with FOYT. Applications open May 2nd.
