On The Road

On The Road is a unique 12-Week Construction program for youth between the ages of 15 and 30, where participants get paid to learn, access construction skills, building opportunities, and employment readiness support to assist in a job in the construction field.

On The Road Program Flyer

We offer:

  • 6 weeks of intensive construction training and pre-employment support to prepare individuals to start a career in an entry level construction trade or general labour construction job
  • Construction Safety, Working at Heights & WHMIS
  • Participants will get paid for 30 hours per week to attend the sessions
  • One-on-one assistance with job search
  • 6 weeks of paid work placement following the training
  • Valuable work experience
  • Ongoing support throughout your employment

Eligibility:

  • 15-30 years old at the time of intake
  • A Canadian Citizen, or permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
