The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is pleased to offer a short-term Cultural Immersion Program, specifically designed for international school groups (10 students or more) starting from Grade 6 to Grade 11. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the Canadian education system, experience the culture firsthand, and join social clubs and sports teams during their stay.
Program Highlights:
- Duration & Flexibility: The program is available throughout the school year, except during the Christmas holidays and March Break, and lasts from 2 to 12 weeks.
- Authentic Canadian Experience: Students will attend classes alongside local Canadian students, following the same curriculum, and will be supported by their host school to integrate smoothly.
- World-Class Education: Students will benefit from the TDSB's renowned educational standards and have the chance to engage in extracurricular activities, including social clubs and sports teams.
- Customized Programs: Each program is tailored to meet the specific needs of the visiting group, ensuring a valuable and personalized experience.
- Homestay Experience: Students have the option to live with local host families, offering them a deeper understanding of Canadian life and culture.
- Chaperone Requirement: A teacher chaperone is required for every 10-15 students to ensure the well-being and coordination of the group.
