The Board of Trustees also approved that a group of students be exempt from this attendance boundary change. The Board approved that all students who live in the portion of Wedgewood Junior School’s attendance area described above and attend Wedgewood Junior School as of the end of the 2023-24 school year be allowed to remain at Wedgewood Junior School until they graduate.
However, this exemption does not apply to the younger siblings of these students who have not started attending Wedgewood Junior School yet. Younger siblings will be subject to the attendance boundary change and will have West Glen Junior School as their designated home school. If a family residing within the boundary change area wishes for their younger child to attend the same school as their older child, both can be accommodated at West Glen Junior School.
