Purchasing and Distribution Services

Purchasing and Distribution Services (PDS) is responsible for buying and supplying all materials, equipment and services for the TDSB.

PDS supports student learning and the effective operation of our schools and administrative buildings by providing goods and services that meet the following criteria: high-quality, fair price, timeliness and accessibility.

We follow all procurement laws, regulations, rules, Acts and the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive. We are committed to ensuring an equitable, open and transparent procurement process and have developed the Purchasing Policy and Administrative Procedures document to make staff and suppliers aware of the guidelines that govern the planning, acquisition and management of supplies, equipment and services.

Doing Business with the TDSB

Supplies, equipment and services must go through a competitive process that ensures the best value for specific needs, and promotes fair dealings and equitable relationships.
