On Wednesday, September 25, over 800 students from 40 TDSB schools gathered at Earl Bales Park to take
on the annual Gravity Grinder Cross Country Meet. Organized by staff at Westview Centennial Secondary
School, this challenging event had students racing across various terrains towards a thrilling finish at the
top of the park's ski hill.
Participants displayed impressive endurance and determination as they navigated the course and were
cheered on by peers, teachers, and family members. Novice students completed a 3 km course,
junior students completed a 4.4 km course and senior students completed a 6 km course.
