All TDSB Parents/Guardians/Caregivers,
The TDSB is developing a new Cell Phone/Mobile Device Use in Schools Policy and we want to hear from you! We recognize the importance of fostering safe and inclusive learning environments for all students, and this new policy will play a critical role in supporting student success, belonging, and well-being.
This work is in response to a January 2024 resolution of the Board of Trustees and also builds on direction from the Ministry of Education outlined in Policy/Program Memorandum (PPM) 128: The Provincial Code of Conduct and School Board Codes of Conduct, issued in April 2024.
Development of the new policy includes a pre-consultation phase to gather input from school and community partners. We ask you to please consider completing an online survey to share your valuable feedback and important insights. We will also be holding two live webcasts to provide information and answer questions and all are welcome to attend.
