TDSB schools showed tremendous support for the Terry Fox foundation during 2022 with four elementary schools ranking among the Elementary Division of the Top 50 Terry Fox School Run Fundraisers of 2022:
#2: Lambton Kingsway Junior Middle School
#5: Runnymede Junior and Senior Public School
#10: Ellesmere-Statton Public School
#20: Bessborough Drive Elementary and Middle School
We are proud of how students, staff and the school communities have helped to continue on Terry Fox’s legacy to cure cancer.
In April, Fred Fox, Terry’s brother, visited Huron Street Public School, Adam Beck Junior Public School, Williamson Road Public School and Rolph Road School as part of a cross-Canada tour to share inspiring stories of Terry’s life and legacy, and to kick off the 2023 Terry Fox School Run. The TDSB looks forward to supporting the Terry Fox School Runs once again in the Fall.
