Program Dates/Time: Mondays, February 4, to June 10, 2019, 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Location: Indigenous Education Centre, 16 Phin Avenue, Toronto, Ontario

The Continuing Education Department invites applications from Urban Indigenous and Latino identified students in the TDSB to engage with Youth Solidarities Participatory Action Research (YPAR) and explore Indigenous and Latino identities, cultures, histories and solidarity.

This unique program, offered in partnership with the Urban Indigenous Education Centre and the Centre for Urban Schooling at OISE/University of Toronto, is co-delivered with faculty and a team of Indigenous and Latino researchers from the Centre for Urban Schooling at OISE/University of Toronto.

The program runs on Mondays, beginning on February 4th and ending on June 10th, 2019. Classes will run from 4:30 pm. to 8:30 pm at the Indigenous Education Centre at 16 Phin Avenue, Toronto, ON.

Students who successfully complete the program can earn one of the following credits:

  • Issues of Indigenous Peoples in a Global Context (NDW4M)
  • Equity and Social Justice: From Equity to Practice (HSE4M)
  • Creating Opportunities through Co-op (DCO3O1)

  • Applicants will be contacted by email by January 30, 2019, regarding acceptance into the program.
