The Waterfront School's Mission Statement

Our school serves the community bounded by York Street on the east, Stadium Road on the west between Lakeshore Blvd and Queens Quay West.

We are a diverse population including grades from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Ours is an inclusive approach to education and schooling, for which we have received recognition from the Toronto Community Living Association and the Director of Education of Canada's largest school board.

Our building also houses City School Alternative Secondary School, Harbourfront Community Centre and St. Stephen's Childcare Centre.

Our Mission

High expectations for all of our students. We believe they can all be successful.

We have a positive school culture where well-being is a priority for students and staff.

We ensure that we listen to student voice and value the identity of each student.

We have built strong relationships with our parents in supporting our students’ learning and we appreciate the collaboration of our School Council in supporting student success.
