Student Life - Where You Belong
GO TEAM
At Miller we encourage all students to get involved outside of their classrooms. We provide many leadership opportunities where students can make a difference; Library Ambassadors, Safety Patrollers, Morning Announcers, Kindergarten Helpers, and Office Helpers. We also offer many extra-curricular activities that allow students to reach their full potential and develop important skills. We hold monthly assemblies that give opportunities for classes and individual student to present work that focuses on Character Education traits. We also recognize students' efforts and achievements during these assemblies, parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
WHAT SETS US APART
The French Immersion program attracts families from neighbouring elementary schools and for this reason many of our students are bussed to and from school every day. This does not stop students from participating in activities offered after school - parents are dedicated and support the school initiatives. Students participate in numerous sports teams and teachers and students alike are committed together to achieve success. We have an active school and great team spirit!
PARENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
William G. Miller is a wonderful place to learn and grow. Staff and parents have a common goal to provide equal opportunities for everyone.
