J B Tyrrell Senior Public School's Mission Statement
The J. B. Tyrrell community believes that all students are entitled to an excellent education. During the two years at J.B. Tyrrell, students work on the development of academics and the skills necessary to become responsible citizens in our society. Our programs support the development of self-esteem, respect for individuals, open communication, pride in the school, involvement & participation, accountability & responsibility, self-discipline, and personal goal setting.
J.B. Tyrrell is a triple-track school with engaging programs in the Regular, Extended French, and Gifted programs. In a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment, our students gain skills that will prepare them for life long-learning.

Special Education Programs
At J.B. Tyrrell Sr. School we have a variety of programs to meet the needs of our diverse learners. The Gifted, Home School Program, Resource Support and ESL/ELL programs continue to provide innovative programming to support the needs of our students.
Extended French Program
J.B. Tyrrell Sr. Public School offers the Extended French Program. Many of our students choose to continue their billingual education studies at the secondary and post-secondary level.
