Pineway Public School's Mission Statement
Welcome to Pineway!
Pineway Public School is a dynamic Learning Community. We strongly believe that we play a vital role, with our community partners, in fostering life-long learning and high standards for student success. Pineway embraces relevant curriculum, equity of access and opportunity, and accountability in a nurturing, engaging, and safe school environment. We believe that every child can learn and achieve success when supported in an inclusive, equitable, caring environment in partnership with home and community. The school which opened 50 years ago is situated in a largely residential (single and multiple-family dwelling) community, near Finch and Leslie in the northeast corner of the Toronto District School Board.
Pineway offers a variety of experiences for the students. Every year we invite performers from the Prologue Performing Arts to engage our students with music, drama, dance and opera. The program also provides a rich learning experience about the artistic heritage of a variety of cultures.
