Health & Safety Issue Details	The cover plate needs to cover the pit. That is the purpose of the cover plate. if the electrical wires and the plastic hose need to go into the pit too, the cover plate needs to be modified for that to happen safely. A cover plate that only half covers a sump pit is next to useless.
