TDSB students impressively took home 3 medals in the Information Technology category from this year’s Skills Canada Competition held in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Students competed against the best of the best from across Canada, including students in community college.
The Skills Canada National Competition is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country. Each year, more than 550 competitors from all regions of Canada come to SCNC to participate in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions.
Prior to the national competition, students compete at the provincial-level, which you can read more about in TDSB Students Dominate Skills Ontario Competition.
TDSB competitors demonstrated exceptional skill, expertise, and professionalism throughout the competition. They showcased the very best of our schools and have made their communities and educators immensely proud.
Congratulations to our TDSB winners and all participants! And a special thank you to the staff who accompanied our students to Winnipeg and made sure they were ready every day for the competition.
