This position focuses on the equitable allocation of resources, capital renewal and modernization. Their role is crucial in ensuring that finances and the allocation of resources are aligned with the strategic priorities of the TDSB, especially the commitment to advancing equity and fighting racism. They will lead the modernization of all business departments, emphasizing service excellence, continuous quality improvement and the recognition of the needs of all communities, particularly those that have been underserved historically.
This Associate Director is responsible for ensuring that the TDSB is at the forefront of technological capability and performance. This role leads the planning and management of facilities, capital programs, Long Term Pupil Planning, environmental sustainability, payroll, revenue generation, and AODA compliance as well as health and safety protocols. This portfolio also includes pandemic response and operational plans, International Education, continuing and adult education, and Museum & Archives as well as the relationship with the Toronto Lands Corporation.
