Sophia's Biography

Sophia Alexandria Bishop is a leadership advisor, speaker, author, entrepreneur, and the founder of The SUCCEED Institute, where she works with leaders and communities on the practical demands of leading well — including the difficult conversations, strained relationships, and institutional pressures that rarely appear in leadership manuals. Her work is grounded in the conviction that leadership is shaped from within — and that how a person governs themselves under pressure determines how effectively they can service people and communities. As the creator of the SUCCEED framework for self-governance Sophia has worked with the Durham District School Board, the Durham Catholic School Board, Durham Region Police, and the City of Toronto — facilitating conversations, helping people work through difficult situations, and supporting leaders navigating complex interpersonal and institutional dynamics. She is the author of multiple works on leadership and self-governance, including SUCCEED: How Leaders Govern Themselves, available through The SUCCEED Institute.
