The purchase of goods and services over $100,000 are made by Requests for Tender (RFT) or Requests for Proposals (RFP). Consulting services over $50,000 are made by RFP.

RFTs and RFPs are posted on Any responsible bidder may bid on a RFT or RFP (unless there was a pre-qualification for that specific competition).

As of October 1st, 2016 the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) will be transitioning to a new electronic tendering (eTendering) solution used by the Province called the Ontario Tenders Portal (OTP). Powered by BravoSolution, this will replace the services and site currently used through Biddingo. These services include access to TDSB open procurement opportunities such as requests for tenders and proposals for goods and services.
